When I am working, I need to connect the AWS Redshift Query Editor v2 console, it is part of my day job.
When I try to do that, the query editor screen is loaded for me in just 1 second, after that I see only a blank AWS screen.

I tried doing the same in other browsers (Safari, Arc) it is all loading as expected.
Also, I tried loading the page with Compatibility mode, but it doesn't help the same behavior.

Here is the dev console output:

Query editor v2 should load and let me execute my scripts and queries within the AWS Redshift cluster.

Can you please prioritize this issue? It is blocking my daily work within the Orion browser.

0.99.126-rc (WebKit 618.1.2)

pisarenko91 Can you verify behavior in Safari?

Sure, if you help remove the 2000 other open issues in front of this one 🙂

Vlad In Safari it is working as expected. The working screenshot I posted above is from Safari.

About prioritization, I read something about paid users kind of having direct communication with dev teams and ability to influence browser development. I have paid for both the Orion browser and the Kagi search engine and I am daily driving the Orion browser for my work. So yeah, kind of I am not sure that all of the 2k bugs you are referring to are all coming from paid users. With all due respect.

pisarenko91 We do prioritize feature requests from paid users.

It was not clear you were a paid user (the process currently is for paid users to reach out so that Orion+ badge is is added to the forum so we know who they are. I did that now, and sorry there is no automated way to do this we have minimal resources).

We also have large number of paid users, that their feature requests alone are few hundred open issues. So we are doing everything we can, given then team of three devs.

        Thanks for understanding.

What makes this issue hard to reproduce is that it is happening in closed environment that requires a login. Let us know how we can reproduce this issue in the easiest possible way.

Vlad Hey Vlad, no worries, it was a misunderstanding.

There is no easy way to reproduce this honestly. You need an AWS account(this should be free of charge) to log in and try it yourself.
I am not sure how can I help with this. All the AWS accounts I am using are company-owned so I am not allowed to share them with anyone else.

If you get your hands on a single AWS account, you just:

            1. Search for Redshift (you do not need to create any Redshift cluster)
            2. click on the Query Editor v2 from the left-hand sidebar
            3. Editor loads for like 1 or 2 seconds
            4. It disappears after(to me it looks like something is blocking iFrame or modal window of that AWS feature)

              yee
So something must be broken between your version of browser Orion 0.99.125-beta and mine Version 0.99.126-rc (WebKit 618.1.2).

pisarenko91 WEbKit changed, and I would assume this is a WebKit issue. Does it work in Safari Technology Preview (which uses similar WebKit as ours). If not, reporting it to webkit.org is the way forward.
