What happened? How did it happen? What are the steps to replicate the issue.

Open new window (with ⌘N or File > New Window).
Notice that address bar is not in focus and we cannot immediately start typing..

      hmm, did i get a different build than everybody else? hehe.

      theres also a weird text flickering text in the addressbar on mine.. but eirk doesnt seem to have that in his video

          Longely Something is up with your version in some (for now) non-reproducible way.

              Just updated my normal Orion to:

              Version 0.99.126-beta

              So a separate instance then my RC

              Same problem now occurs there. maybe its specific to my OS?

              Monterey

                Still can not reproduce, lets see if any Monterey users chime in.

                  When opening a new page using the cmd+N shortcut, the URL bar is not automaticly selected to be typed directly (i.e. I need to press cmd+L to type the URL or the search).
                  This does not happen when opening a new tab.

                  The URL bar also seems to be loading or flickering when opening this new page, see attached video.

                  URL bar should be focused and ready to be "typed in"
