What happened? How did it happen? What are the steps to replicate the issue.
I have used Quick Notes to store issues I encounter in Orion. The Quick Notes page content was consistently the same no matter from what current window/tab I opened it, which is what I would expect.

But suddenly, after a restart of my Mac, all the content was lost and I saw the default Quick Notes page again.

What did you expect to happen? Describe the desired functionality.
I expected Quick Notes to be persistent.

What version of Orion are you running?
Version 0.99.125-beta (WebKit 616.1.22) Build-Datum Jul 31 2023 Mac Pro (macOS Mojave 10.14.6 build 18G9323)

    Uli They are persistent in my Mojave Orion, so we would need better steps to reproduce the issue you faced.

        Unfortunately, there is nothing I can add, because there was no further steps involved that I performed intentionally.

        Did you just relaunch Orion to reproduce the issue? This isn’t a problem for me, either. It happens only when I restart the Mac while Orion is still running, i.e. it is shutdown by macOS. But then it happens 100% reproducibly.

            Uli In order for a Note to be saved, you need to explicitly save it.

                And is clicking Done in the upper right not enough to do that?

                        I can’t remember the exact circumstances, therefore I suggest I keep an eye on future occurences and reoprt back when/if this will happen again.

                        Two things I just noticed when checking my Quick Notes again:

                        1. They are now always dark, settings don’t matter. I was able to set a light apperance earlier on.
                        2. In the lower left, it always says Last edited:never, no matter if I edited and saved the text or not.

                        Could this be related somehow?
