Thank you guys for the amazing work you are doing, I really like the ideas behind this project, i’m also a kagi subscriver.
I’m not technical and not god at speaking english so maybe the title should be changed.

SUGGESTION: a toggle or a button rec/stop to allow orion record all the data (is this called logs?) that developers needs to resolve bugs or add feature, when stopped it creates a file that we can share with the bug report.
My experience is that I encounter many bugs and strange behaviour with orion ios but cannot report due to being non technical and with poor english.
Having the possibility to record the data you need and share them (on volountary basis) with the bug report allow people like me to report more.

chorizo Thank you! On iOS there is a native screen recorder that you cna use to record videos. I am afraid bug reporting can not be fully autoamted as we still need a human to describe what is wrong and how to reproduce it.

Vlad hi, thank you for replying, I wasn’t talking about the screen recorder, I’ll try to explain myself at best.

Telemetry is bad but useful for devs for tracking bugs and improve functions

Orion is good because doesn’t have telemetry

Is something similar to telemetry BUT instead of always connecting to a server it could be something that write a .txt (ora whatever kind of file do you need).
Could be something that we can switch on and off when we encounter a bug.
When switched on this “telemetry on device” records the file that you need.
When switched off the file is saved in download.
We can attach this file to the bug report.

Maybe is something that already is there and I’m not aware of ( if that please tell me), or not useful as I think.

      Edit: maccheroni english
