  • When using vertical tabs, closing Orion with the side bar hidden causes Orion to open without the 'Show Sidebar' button

  • BugsDesktopDone

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Have Vertical tabs enabled
  2. Hide the side bar (View -> Hide Sidebar or ⌘+ctrl+s)
  3. Close the Orion window
  4. Reopen Orion
  5. Notice that the Hide/Show sidebar button from the top left corner of the browser window is missing

Expected behavior:
The show/hide sidebar button should be visible even if Orion is launched with the sidebar hidden.

RC and beta share the same behavior:

I'm seeing the same behaviour after creating a new window while in a tab group, i.e the "show sidebar" button and tab group dropdown disappear in the initial window:

    Visible in initial window:

    Visible in new window:

No longer visible in initial window:

Both the "show sidebar" button and tab group dropdown become visible again in the initial window after resizing it, if that's relevant
