Reddit is not scrollable when not logged in. Probably related to ad blocking a popup scroll-blocking element. Scroll does work after logging in.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Close tabs & clear data
  2. Enable ad blocking
  3. Open https://www.reddit.com
  4. Attempt to scroll the webpage

Expected behavior:
Webpage is scrollable

Actual behavior:
Webpage is NOT scrollable

Orion, OS version; hardware type:

    Vlad The webpage displays as shown in the photo with the content blocker disabled. The website is not scrollable. After clicking “continue”, the website becomes scrollable.

        Vlad Safari default config: expected behavior. Safari with adblock (Wipr) enabled: same behavior as reported issue.

            word8342 So it is clearly being caused by the content blocker. The solution would be to disable the content blocker just for reddit?

                I don’t think I’d call that a solution, since ads are then displayed on the webpage.

                I’d suggest either:

                1. Update the blocklist so that either the issue is fixed, or so that the “See Reddit in…” element is not blocked (not sure if this is in the scope of the project); or
                2. Allow users to whitelist elements

                    Loving Orion so far but have one persistent issue keeping it from becoming my primary browser on my phone.

                    When I navigage to a Reddit page (common with the Forums Lens) I can't navigate the screen (scroll) or press any links / buttons on the page. Seems to be consistent but isolated to Reddit only

                        Whenever I go on Reddit using the Orion browser, I can not scroll down, click on links, or interface with anything except the back button (on the browser) to go back to my search. Using iphone 14 and an ipad mini gen 5 I believe.

                        To be able to scroll though the reddit page and click on links posted by users.

                          This is caused by Orion's content blocker blocking the reddit cookie popup.
                          You can use reddit on iOS by temporarily disabling the content blocker, accepting the cookies, and then enabling it again.
                          A future update to Orion iOS should make the content blocker slightly less aggressive towards cookie banners as those sadly often break sites.

                                On Orion browser on my iPhone 12 Pro, there are some sites that loads at first glance, but then are completely frozen. I cannot scroll or interact with the sites at all and have to back out. Reddit.com is one such site that I have to change browser to use.

                                I would be able to interact with the site as usual.

                                  I had similar problems with clicking the login button on reddit and stuff. Not entirely sure what is happening. But some of the stuff also happens on Firefox, but surprisingly doesn't on Safari. Very strange. If I can reproduce I will add info.
