Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open some search results on google (can't reproduce with kagi search)
  2. Open some result in a new tab without switching to that tab
  3. Observe that current page freezes for a second or two before the new tab opens.

In the attached video it's clear that the browser stutters heavily when scrolling.

    Haarolean Likely caused by extensions you have installed. Can you try in a new clean orion profile?

        @Vlad sorry, somehow I missed your reply here.
        Yes, it seems indeed to be related to extensions.
        I have disabled the ones I have installed upon first installing Orion (something from "popular" I believe) and this helped.
