sukru The iPad Mini 4 was released in 2015, and you are running iOS 15. iOS 17 is not supported for your device. Is there a chance this may be a hardware limitation rather than a software issue due to how old the iPad is? [Edit] I see Orion supports iOS 13, so it should be fine. How many tabs does it take to produce a crash?

17+ empty tabs to produce a crash or Orion being slow.
1+ tabs which is showing many high resolution pictures to produce a crash or Orion being slow.
(Edit: It won't be fixed even after closing tabs)

sukru How are you measuring used RAM?

Can you please clarify the steps to reproduce - what is being reproduced here?

Vlad I haven't measured actual value of RAM usage. I meant Orion and the device being slow even after closing tabs and Orion app.
I am a general user of Orion, so I don't use debugger or something.

This issue has occurred on mobile device (I'm on iPad mini 4, RAM 2GB, A8 Chipset, iPadOS 15.7.3)

To reproduce Orion being slow issue:

            1. Open a page which has lots of (about 30+) higher resolution (about HD - 4K) images, then scroll down the page to load all images.
            2. Close the tab.
            3. Do something such as a typing with keyboard (not physical keyboard).
On my device, typing with keyboard was slower after that.

There are another steps to reproduce this:

            1. Spam opening new tabs (approx 17+)
My device was being slow at this step.
            2. Close all tabs.
My device was still slow as step 1 after closing tabs.

sukru Please post EXACT steps to reproduce. 'open a page with lots' is not a step to reproduce problem. 'Open this URL' is.

                Vlad
Open this URL https://imgur.io/ and scroll down.
Repeat this until the device being slow.
Close all tabs and device is still slow as before closing tabs.

sukru Can you post a video showing the issue?

I have tried the media issue to check it is still there today, and it is solved.
