  • Orion uses favicon across directories and ports of same domain

  • BugsDesktopDone

Steps to reproduce:
I have phpmyadmin located at http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ (port 80)
I have a directory with files located at http://localhost/ (port 80)
I have a web project running at http://localhost:8080/

Only http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ has a favicon yet Orion displays this favicon on all other directories and all ports using localhost.

This is causing much frustration and confusion when navigating between tabs.

Expected behavior:
Only http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ should have the phpmyadmin favicon.

All other directories/ports on localhost should have their respective favicon (if any) OR no favicon, not the phpmyadmin favicon.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Version 0.99.125-beta (WebKit 616.1.22) Build date Jul 31 2023 MacBook Pro (macOS Ventura 13.4 build 22F66)

miguel-rn Is this how Safari behaves? What if it was a live site instead of localhost, would each path have different icon in Safari?

Vlad Safari behaves correctly with a different icons (as does Chromium & Vivaldi). See video demonstration below of Safari.
