Steps to reproduce:
Go to https://threejs.org/examples/#webgl_animation_keyframes
Tested in compatibility mode

Expected behavior:
Render the scene correctly and at a decent fps.
I get 30 fps in Safari and 35 in Firefox
Orion gives me 1-2 fps
also textures don't load properly so everything is black.

Orion and macOS:
Orion Version 0.99.108.1-beta (WebKit 613.1.10)
macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H1519)
Tested on my 2015 MacBook pro.

Image/Video:

Not able to reproduce (get 60 FPS in both Safari and Orion)

Anyone with Catlina/Mojave that can reproduce?

I'm not sure how to get the FPS to show (the box you had is blank, Vlad, even when I click on it), but on the M1 Mini w/ 12.1, it feels like at least 60 fps. Even in compatibility mode, no FPS, great performance.

Maybe that's a separate issue, or maybe a bug on the site? (Or maybe I am just doing it wrong?)

I was able to reproduce weaker performance than Safari on on Catalina, maybe just a WebKit flag. We will investigate.

Not sure if this still helps now that you've already reproduced, but for what it's worth the slowness and black texture is also reproducible on my Catalina MacBook Pro, no FPS counter visible.

Safari 15.1 looks OK with 18FPS
