Steps to reproduce:
- Open the js console on any page
- Click away from the text input field at the bottom
- Click into it - it does not appear to have gained focus
- Type something, it goes into the field - it actually did have focus
- Double-click the entered text to select it, it doesn't select it
- Press delete key, it really didn't select it
- Also try to select any text, it doesn't work
There are some other wonky behaviours here but I couldn't easy spell them out, hopefully the issue is obvious internally and doesn't need more troubleshooting, though I'm happy to do that if needed
Expected behavior:
- It behaves like a normal text input field
