Developer Tools Split Console View

Brief Summary
When using the dev tools, currently the console can only be used in its own tab. Similair patterns in other browsers allow using the dev tools console as a split view, for example below the element inspector.

Details:
This would be an optional feature when viewing the console in the dev tools. Please see attached image for how it looks on other browsers. It's useful as I find it an extremely common pattern especially in web development to want to see console output when doing something else at the same time - e.g. element inspection.

This is possible with the current WebKit Web Inspector – after switching to a non-console tab, focus the console entry field at the bottom of the window (either by clicking it or just pressing escape at any time) and either execute a statement or press the escape key to toggle the 'quick console':
