Favorites don't sync between iPhone and iPad

Steps to reproduce:

Enable iCloud sync on phone
Enable iCloud sync on iPad
Add some favorites on phone

Favorites added on phone do not appear on tablet

Expected behavior:

Favorites added on phone should also appear on tablet

Troubleshooting

I have followed the steps at https://help.kagi.com/orion/features/syncing-data.html#troubleshooting and it did not fix the issue

Orion, OS version; hardware type:

Orion 1.2.10
iOS & iPadOS 16.5.1
iPad 8th Gen, iPhone 14\

dharmab iCloud sync is controlled entirely by Apple and there is not much we can do if the data does not arrive.

Web is full of cases where iCloud sync does not work and the hope is that Apple will keep improving it.

Well, that hinted me in the right direction!

First, I had iCloud Drive turned off in my iCloud sync settings on my phone. So I turned that on. (I turned this off before I had paid iCloud to reduce storage usage in my free iCloud account.)

Then, I toggled Orion in my iCloud sync settings on both devices off and on again.

Finally, I toggled Orion sync within the Orion's app settings off and on again.

Now my bookmarks are syncing as expected 🙂
