Cannot interact with web content using the Voiceover screenreader. Running latest MacOS 13, MacBook Pro 16 inch M1. To reproduce, first enable VoiceOver, then open a website in Orion. Then using the coiner navigational commands (ctrl + option + left / right arrows), navigate the window until you hear the URL of the website followed by the word "group". Interact with that group with ctrl + option + shift + down arrow, and try to navigate the web content. Voiceover reads nothing.

This does not change in compatibility mode. Could this perhaps be due to the type of interface element you're using? Voiceover doesn't recognise the page content as a "web content" area, but a "group" and therefore doesn't render it as a webpage.

ashleycox432 Thanks for posting this. Accessibility is very important to us and we will make sure this is addressed.

Can you compare Orion's behavious with Safari on an example website to give us a bit more context?

Vlad Sure. Performing the same steps in safari, VoiceOver announces "[page title] Web Content". Interacting with the web content area allows voiceover to read the page. The same goes for Chrome. I'm using Safari as my Dailey browser so can confirm it is fully accessible.

        ashleycox432 Thanks for confirming that.

We will be working on this for the next release. In the meantime please let us know about any other ways we can improve accessibiliy of Orion browser or this website.

This issue appears to be unchanged since it was originally posted. It would be great if this could be addressed, as currently Orion is unusable to those of us who rely on a screen reader.

Janner Thanks for the heads up, we will prioritize.
