    mantas Not able to reproduce.

Have you enabled history suggestions in your settings -> search? What are the simplest steps to reproduce this?

Vlad I have it enabled. Here's a screenshot of my settings:

Well, the simplest steps are as simple as having history items from a few weeks. The screenshots in original post was made on June 15th and the history items with sandisk in it was from May 29th.

        I can reproduce.

Basically just go to your history and find something a bit older, and try to type it in address bar. it will not show up

        Steps to reproduce:

Type part of the title or URL of a webpage that you’ve visited in the past—but not for at least a couple of weeks—into the address bar.

        Expected behavior:

The address bar autocomplete menu lists the webpage under the History section.

        Actual behavior:

The webpage is not listed in the autocomplete menu.

        Notes:

I use Orion on two different Macs and on both of them the address bar will currently autocomplete history items from the last 11 days, but will not autocomplete history items 12 days or older.

            19 days later

            Steps to reproduce:
I'm not really sure how to reproduce it, but I suppose try lots of different URLs that you have in your history and see if you get a suggestion in the URL bar or not.

            • Visit some websites to fill up history
            • In the location bar, type part of a website already visited

            Expected behavior:
Start typing part of the URL (for me it would be zed see screenshots below) and see suggestions from history or Top Hits maybe (not sure if that's supposed to show up in there).

I don't know if it has to do with my configuration or if my history is too large maybe so it can't index everything and has to cleanup somethings.

            My settings for autocomplete suggestions:

I have definitely experienced this as well. It's difficult to pinpoint the issue but I'd best describe it as browser amnesia. Sometimes, Orion beta's address bar would just forget my history like you've experienced. It's still there inside history proper but it doesn't show up when typing.

I will say, the current version of Orion RC doesn't really have this issue so maybe it was fixed along the way.

Merged 2 posts from Suggestion from history does not always show up.
                  10 days later
                  No one is typing
