  • YouTube video Error. Requires refresh each time to watch a video.

  • BugsDesktopNofix

Steps to reproduce:

  • Use a web browser, go to any youtube video, and it gives me this error:

  • This happens intermittently, sometimes doesn't happen, sometimes it does.

  • To get around it I have to refresh.

  • It could be an extension, though I can't test that because it works fine in compatibility mode and when I went back to normal mode the issue goes away and after sometime just comes on randomly. Will update when I get the chance to see if it's uBlock causing the issue...

Edit: thought it was uBlock. It wasn't. Disabled it and issue still persisted. Usually happens when you click on the YouTube video FROM the search page. Not the videos in the "Related Videos" section.

Anyone else have this?

Version 0.99.124.4.1-beta (WebKit 616.1.14.11.1)

  • Vlad replied to this.

yarb123 It is definetely caused by an extension you use, if it works in Compatibility mode (which disables all extensions).

@Vlad no worries, it's fixed. Just double checked which it was. Thanks

yarb123 It'd be nice to know which extension it was so other users can file (or add to) a bug report with the developer.

Jimothy Sorry about that, thought had mentioned it in later edit. Thanks for the reminder. It was an extension that I now no longer use: "Hover+" extension.
