Steps to reproduce:
Open the 1Password Desktop "Quick Access" menu and choose Autofill. Note that this is not the 1Password browser extension.

Expected behavior:
Prior to the latest beta update, autofill was working as expected. Now, Quick Access is no longer detecting what site Orion's on, and it also isn't sure if Orion should have access to the fill. When it's overridden, it still can't fill.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
0.99.124.2-beta, macOS 13.4, Intel

    Can also reproduce

    Steps to reproduce:
Open a website, use cmd+\ or cmd+shift+space. Neither shortcut allows 1password to detect the site. Using quick access (cmd+shift+space) and searching for the website opens a new tab in addition to the already-correct tab, but 1password still doesn't fill.

    Orion, OS version; hardware type:
    0.99.124.2-beta (WebKit 616.1.14.11.1), macOS 13.4, M2

@Vlad is there a way to downgrade Orion until a fix is out? This is a central part of my workflow, and can't use Orion until it works.

        Steps to reproduce:
Start Orion 0.99.124.2-beta and try to use 1Password's global autofill feature. Nothing happens (at least on my device). Other apps like Safari are still working.

        Expected behavior:
1Password should open the window to choose the correct login or autofill completely autonomously, like it did before the update.

        Orion, OS version; hardware type:
        0.99.124.2-beta, macOS 13.4; MacBook Pro 2019 (Intel)

Merged 1 post from 1Password global autofill not working since update to 0.99.124.2-beta.
            18 days later

dino This is a regression in Version 0.99.124.4.3-rc (WebKit 616.1.14.11.1)
Mac mini (macOS Ventura 13.4 build 22F66)

Same behaviour as mentioned in previous posts.

Is it considered ok to bump this or should I raise a new ticket?

Vlad The issue doesn't appear to be that 1password has associated my login credentials with Orion. I've checked and none of my logins has an app association. I can use cmd+\ while in DuckDuckGo browser (which doesn't support extensions of any kind) and the creds fill in fine.

The issue is with OrionRC only.

Jimothy Orion RC is not yet in trusted browser list for 1Password's global autofill (as 1Password have a list of bundle identifiers to verify before showing autofill suggestions), as it uses different bundle identifier than Orion beta. So there's no regression 🙂

You can try with older RC versions too.
