Can't see icons or logos for bookmarks in bookmark bar

I can only see text on my bookmarks bar, not any logos or icons. Have deleted browser and redownloaded and it still didn't work. Not sure what to do. When i hover over blank spaces where icons are meant to be, I can see the name of the bookmark i am hovering over

I think so, because the icons just randomly disappeared. But how do i check to see if they're enabled?
