Steps to reproduce: Go to this website: https://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/elizabeth-holmes-theranos-prison/3230228/ with autoplay settings set to "stop media with sound". You will hear the video playing audibly. Bug has been reproduced by two people on Orion discord.

Expected behavior: No audio should be emitted until a user click (the video should either be prevented from autoplaying or muted).

Orion, OS version; hardware type: Version 0.99.124.1-beta (WebKit 616.1.10) MacBook Pro (macOS Ventura 13.3.1 (a) build 22E772610a)

I'm finding the same issue on the reddit site. I have set the preferences to never autoplay and have double-check such in the settings pop-up however the site still automatically plays all videos!

This is with the current build Version 0.99.126.4.1-beta (WebKit 618.1.2)
    Build date Dec 14 2023

      Steps to reproduce!?

This should be a very obvious bug for most. Go to any site, say rediit.com and load the site. It becomes very apparent when each and every video is played as one scrolls past each post with a video.

jeffhenderson Can you confirm how Safari behaves in same scenario? Uploading a video to comapre the two would be helpful.

        Steps to reproduce?

Yes. Do not assume the developer working on this is familiar with reddit or how it works. We ask for exact steps to reproduce the problem, starting with a clean Orion profile.

Vlad Okay Vlad. This is interesting. I specifically went into the settings for Safari and go to "websites/autoplay" and specify reddit.com to never autoplay. When I go into reddit.com, it automatically plays the videos. This seems site specific.
