It would be really cool to have a feature similar to Brave where it shows how many ads/trackers and how much bandwidth/time you have saved. It would add a little extra differentiation from other browsers and its something that is really cool. You always see posts on twitter and other social medias of users posting their Brave dashboard and it gives great exposure too Brave.

Having something like that within Orion may help with marketing as it is something that is cool and fun to observe/share.

A stats dashboard is a good idea. The problem with Brave stats is they are purely vanity stats and two out of three are a complete guess (bandwidth and time saved) and generally we are not interested in gimmicks like that. We'd have to think about something that is actually useful/actionable even if it is not as "shareable".

Orion should show a privacy report, like Safari does.

    Safari example:

Seems like a useless gimmick, but a fun idea nonetheless.

Was going to open a report on this but decided to search first, and found this. I was just messing around in Safari again on Mac and noticed the privacy report (not sure how long it's there and I've been missing it). I too like to see the stats in Brave, and while the bandwidth/time may be slightly dubious guesstimates, I love seeing a total count of items blocked. I know Orion does incredibly well at blocking many things I don't want as part of my browsing experience. I'd love to see that displayed somewhere.

Orion RC has recently added support for scriptlets which allows for YouTube ad blocking, I am writing this as a suggestion that Orion expand on this API and display number of ads blocked as well as the data and time saved. Brave browser has this, and Safari kinda has it on the start page, but that only involves trackers.

Anyways, I’m suggestion that something similar be implemented in the start page.

Having something similar to this would appeal to the users using Brave, and would be an option for users who are thinking about switching to Orion.

Brave does have an adblock-rust repository which could be a good starting point in implementing this feautre.
