Steps to reproduce:
Just type any incorrect word in any text box

the one is used for example - https://write-box.appspot.com

Expected behavior:

To not show any suggestions when typing incorrect words

Orion, OS version; hardware type:

Version 0.99.124-beta (WebKit 616.1.10)
MacBook Pro (macOS Ventura 13.2.1 build 22D68)

Both Auto correct setting are off both in orion and in Mac settings app as seen below


    Tried in safari and i dont see any spell corrections

      Please check if the option in context menu is disabled

        Steps to reproduce:
        Since the latest version I've had autocorrect active and it's a bit annoying while typing. All the settings (menubar Edit > Spelling & Grammar and Orion Settings > Browsing > Spelling and Grammar) are disabled.

        Expected behavior:
        Autocorrect should not be active if all settings for it are disabled.

          Merged 1 post from Autocorrect is active even though it shouldn't be.

            Same issue here since the recent update. In the context menu both "Check grammar with spelling" and "Correct spelling automatically" is disabled. No issue with Safari.

            Edit: Not fixed in 0.99.124.1

                Manan2004 Thanks. After some more digging, we found that that's causing due to some recent WebKit changes. We will fix that with next WebKit update 🙂
