Update Popular Extensions with each Orion update

Orion presently doesn't support extension auto-update.
So, as a workaround till then, the popular extensions should be updated with each Orion update.

For example, Orion installs Bitwarden extension version 2022.8.0 (Released Aug 8, 2022), whereas the latest version is 2023.4.0 (Released Apr 26, 2023). For such a critical extension, the version available in Orion is more than 10 months old.

My current workaround is to manually update from the extension source. In the case of Bitwarden, the suggested installer pulls from Firefox so I go to the Firefox extension site and click 'Add to Orion' and it will update itself. One will need to enable third party extensions under Settings -> Advanced.

This can not be automated afaik, and is a manual process with each update.

Vlad Would it be possible to update extensions with a button press rather than navigating to the extension store each time?

Dustin yes , that is what the auto-updates suggestion is al about.

Vlad I'm a little confused on your reply here. Are you saying that auto-updating isn't possible, but that a manual update via button press (presumably in the popular extensions window) is possible at some point?
