Steps to reproduce:
Unfortunately I have not found a way to reproduce this behavior, it just started happening a few versions ago.
I have tried various things to fix it, except resetting the browser or reinstalling.

The things I've tried so far:

  • Opening a new window instance with a clean profile
  • Re-launching Orion

Any ideas how i can fix this, as a last resort, I could try to reinstall or use the "reset Orion" button but i'd like to avoid that.

As you can see in the video, it's not just a graphical artifact, all the duplicated instances work.

Expected behavior:
Only having one icon of the sidebar appearing, regardless of it being expanded or not.

Actual behavior:
Seeing multiple instances of the expand/collapse sidebar button as well as dropdown menu.

Version 0.99.124-beta (WebKit 616.1.10)

    MrStevns Leaving it open, but without steps to reproduce very little we can do.

        Understandable.

        FYI. I did a reset today using the "Reset Orion button", and the problem went away... I reset everything except clearing my passwords.

        I don't recall having any extensions or anything so not sure what did the trick but it works now.

        Happened to me in the latest RC on my non-default profile. This was right after the update when I relaunched Orion.

        Version 0.99.124.1.1-rc (WebKit 616.1.14.11.1)

        Doing a partial reset also made the issue disappear.

        Emptying Cache made it re-appear when I toggle the side panel.

        Doing another reset didn’t work.

          Although the issue still appears, you can remove the extra icons by right clicking and then press "remove from toolbar"

              Steps to reproduce:
              On the top left corner I can see two duplicate sidebar icons to click
              Expected behavior:
              Only one sidebar icon should show up

                  Steps to reproduce:
                  When starting a new instance of orion in vertical tabs mode, I have two hide/show buttons seating nearby on the left hand corner (on top of the vertical toggles). When I click on one of them the hide show button appears several times. I don't have particular workflow to make it happen on purpose but I always experience it.

                  Expected behavior:
                  You should have only one hide/show button and thats it
