Orion crashes on launch, cannot reopen or use at all
Hi, apologies, I don't know how/where to enter terminal commands, can you provide some more detailed instructions?
If you're not comfortable with terminal commands, I can suggest the solution I found and posted way, way up the thread:
"I worked around this issue by disabling my internet and starting Orion RC again. After the initial update check fails due to no connection, the browser won't crash. After that, you can re-enable your connection and the subsequent update check will work and update the browser to fix the issue."
Dustin I did read that comment earlier and I tried that and the app still crashed on launch for me, even with my internet disconnected and my wifi off.
Should I just delete the app and redownload the updated version?

please help -- I don't know how to enter terminal commands and I would love to fix this issue. I've copy and pasted the command you shared and nothing is happening. I'm 100% sure that I am doing it wrong but I don't know what to do. I also tried to the other fix of disconnecting from my internet and Orion still crashes, every single time.

Can you confirm that you are running Orion RC?
Are you on 0.99.123.3-beta or 0.99.123.3.6-rc?
Your crash report there doesn't show RC. Perhaps that's why the command doesn't work.
If that's the case, maybe you can try:
defaults write com.kagi.kagimacOS SUEnableAutomaticChecks 0
On your Mac, you can simply open the Terminal app (type Terminal in Spotlight and hit enter) and paste the command in there.
Just throwing out an idea for you to try but I'm sure the Orion team will see your message in time.
This did not help defaults write com.kagi.kagimacOS SUEnableAutomaticChecks 0
But disabling the internet did, per preevious poster "I worked around this issue by disabling my internet and starting Orion RC again. After the initial update check fails due to no connection, the browser won't crash. After that, you can re-enable your connection and the subsequent update check will work and update the browser to fix the issue."
