Steps to reproduce:
Tab for a Cause is a web extension that automatically redirects a new tab to https://tab.gladly.io/newtab/ so it can show an ad for charity. It causes many problems that are not present in Chromium and other Webkit browsers such as.
- Crashing Orion when starting the browser
- Crashing Orion when opening a window in Private mode
- Often causes the browser to freeze when opening a new tab
Had these issues for nearly six months after I installed the extension.
Expected behavior:
None of these bugs happen in any browser, and the issues disappear when the extension is uninstalled
