Steps to reproduce:

  • Turn on Stage Manager on Ventura
  • Create a webapp in Orion RC
  • Set it to float on top (important as this setting causes the break)
  • Open the webapp
  • Minimize the webapp
  • No window can be brought back to the desktop from the Stage Manager until the webapp is closed

Expected behavior:

  • The webapp shouldn't break the Stage Manager

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Version 0.99.123.3.4-rc, macOS 13.2.1, Macbook Air M2

Vlad Is the Helium browser a valid example? You can't minimize it to the stage manager and thus it won't break it.

I saw that @eirk posted a suggestion that Webapps should be useable from the menubar. In this case minimizing it to the stage manager wouldn't make sense anymore, right?

Just as it currently is, it breaks the stage manager and the only thing I can do once it does is quiting the Webapp.

this is completely separate and i don't think it should affect behavior of non-menu bar webapps
