  • Disabling Javascript in a tab also disables Javascript in other open tabs

  • BugsDesktopDone

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a tab and go to a site that requires Javascript. A browser game like Cookie Clicker (https://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/) or slither.io is a good test example - something which runs with an animation
  2. Open a 2nd tab and browse to any site
  3. On the 2nd tab, click the Website Settings button and disable Javascript. The site in the 2nd tab will reload with Javascript disabled
  4. Go back to the 1st tab - the game is now frozen / paused
  5. Refresh the 1st tab - the game now starts working again
  6. Refresh the 2nd tab - it will load the site with Javascript disabled again
  7. Go back to the 1st tab - the game is now frozen again

Expected behavior:
Disabling Javascript in any tab should not affect any other open tabs

mstgrv If you disable javascript via website settings, it will be disabled on all tabs that share the same domain. Your steps are not clear whether that was the case.
