Steps to reproduce:
Go to Amazon.nl (so not amazon.com) and search for something on Amazon via the search field. Now you see that the address bar displays the full URL. I think this happens because there are some weird characters (ÅMÅŽÕÑ) in the Dutch Amazon URL when something is searched. This doesn't happen on amazon.com and I think because there are no weird character on the .com website.

I expected that only the domain is visible like on every other website.

      Nice find!

Able to reproduce on Orion (Version 0.99.123.3-beta (WebKit 615.1.16.1)) and OrionRC (Version 0.99.123.3.1-rc (WebKit 615.1.16.1)). Safari and Safari TP work as expected.

      I agree that

I think this happens because there are some weird characters (ÅMÅŽÕÑ) in the Dutch Amazon URL when something is searched.

      Is likely the cause.

      Not able to reproduce?

Let's see if a direct link makes it easier to reproduce: Amazon link with weird characters

Just did further testing: the odd characters aren't always added to the URL, no idea what Amazon is doing behind the scenes

that link shows full URL even if show full website address is off

Confirmed fixed in Version 0.99.123.3.3-rc (WebKit 616.1.4.5).
