Fortrikka Just have a shortcut or website preference that clears all cookies for that website only. A toolbar item perhaps. Or perhaps add it as well as a right click menu option inside the reload button. Handy for bypassing paywalls.
Vlad Fortrikka It is found in Develop menu. Feel free to recommend a shortcut for it. Also toggling "Enable Cookies" twice in website settings would do the same.
gp Vlad I was looking for this feature there, and think it should belong in the "website settings" dropdown, as that's where all other site-specific settings seem to belong. Maybe at the bottom of this menu? The equivalent of this in Firefox:
Fortrikka Vlad Websit esettings, such as compatibility mode, cookie settings, web fonts settings, and everything. just make it all set to the default. It would be underneath the address bar's context menu.
Vlad Yeah I an imagine something like 'Reset settings and data for orionfeedback.org" this would also clear cache, cookies etc.
Vlad gp Well so far website settings had only ... well settings. This would be an action. But lets say we add it as a link on the bottom of the menu. Is "Empty Cookies for this site" enough or you imagine additional settings (what is website data in Firefox? do we have equivalent function?)
gp Vlad I think Firefox clears cookies, local storage, and cache. Given the other issue, I'd include favicon cache (for that site) as well. Perhaps the data is "Clear this website's data"? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox
Vlad gp This is not intuitive. Is website history not part of the website data? How about saved passwords? Let's start wit what Safari has (hmm nothing for a website?), Orion has (Empy cookies) and then expand to potentially all browsers but in a consistent way.
Fortrikka Same concept as https://orionfeedback.org/d/470-clear-cookies-option-for-one-specific-website/4 Merge above post with this one.
TCat I used Cookie Auto-Delete in Chrome (https://github.com/Cookie-AutoDelete/Cookie-AutoDelete) to enable deleting site cookies on leaving the site or shutting down the browser, by default. That would be a nice feature to have.
