One thing that always borthered me with newer version of Safari is the new mute icon.

Before mute icon had a line that crossed it. making it easily readable that the tab is muted. where in newer versions it just removes the sounds waves. making it more unclear if its just turned down or actually off. obviously you understand after a while that no sound waves means off. but its still harder visually to see the difference then it was before

further more it doesnt follow the logic of the other icons, sound recording and video recording. that still use the line crossed over to signal its off:

oh yeah and apple still uses the line crossing the icon in the Os menu bar when sound is turned completly off:

to replace current mute symbol back to how it used to be in Safari, and that is used generally in Mac OS and most browsers and other apps.
reasoning being its way easier to distinguish from unmuted, and follows other Safari symbols logic of a line crossing the symbol when off.

      replace this:

      with this:

      speaker.slash.fill
