The extension G App Launcher (Google™ Shortcuts) on Firefox and G App Launcher (Customizer for Google™) on Chrome, get reset every time I relaunch Orion Browser.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install the Chrome or Firefox extension in Orion Mac/iOS:

  2. Open GApp launcher and add or change position of an app in the launcher

  3. Restart Orion browser

  4. App Launcher shows Welcome screen again, which should only happen on after first launch. When opening the launcher, everything is reset.

The extension DOES work in Safari (v 16.3 (18614.4.6.1.6)): https://apps.apple.com/nl/app/g-app-launcher/id1543803459

I already had contact with the developer (Carlos Jeurissen) and sent this issue. He will also try to test this.

Expected behavior:
I expect the changes I made in the launcher extension (adding apps, changing position, settings, etc.), to be saved even after relaunching Orion Browser. Now it gets reset every time I launch Orion.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
I'm using Version Orion 0.99.123.1-beta (WebKit 615.1.16.1) on a MacBook Pro 2020 M1 with macOS Ventura 13.2.1
Or Orion 1.2.4 (2) (WebKit 8614.4.6.0.6) on an iPhone 11 with iOS 16.3.1

    Demonic Does this happen on mobile for you? Or Mac? I’ve never had that issue before on Mac.

        toineenzo on mac, it acts very werid too, i can't seem to uninstall it unless i relauch orion
