Steps to reproduce:

Play video from any site, go to other tab and have the video play in the background, right click the the volume icon of the tab playing video, click picture in picture nothing happens, you need to be on the actual tab to use picture in picture

Expected behavior:

to go picture in picture, like Safari regardless of being on the tab playing the video

Orion, OS version; hardware type:

Version 0.99.123.1-beta (WebKit 615.1.16.1) MacBook Pro (macOS Monterey 12.6.3 build 21G419)

        Longely I think you misunderstood. If two videos are being played in two tabs , which one would go PiP in your scenario?

            Vlad the tab which sound icon I right click and select Picture in Picture

                there is no sound icon in the adress bar when you arent on the tab playing video. only sound icons on the actual tabs playing video. so the way to select the PIP is by right clicking that icon, so its should play the video in PIP of the tab you selected regardless of how many other tabs playing video. just like Safari
