It would be great if when a tab was suspended there was some visual way of knowing that. Third Party Solutions often add a symbol or grey out the tab bar in order to signal to the user that a specific tab is suspended.

B4ND1T Please suggest what symbol and potentialy what would that look on a tab as a mockup.

Vlad Very rough idea, also I am awful with design, but that being said...

Basically I'm thinking replace the tab favicon with the default Apple SF Symbol "sleep" and lowering the brightness of text, to indicate something that is there but not in the foreground. AKA a suspended tab.

I would add perhaps also setting the tab favicon to greyscale alongside the above suggestions.

Please agree on one suggestion and keep it simple 🙂

Vlad Just a greyscale tab favicon should work well, and will be more simple than my idea

        Brief Summary
Right now Orion grays out favicons for inactive tabs, which can make it harder to tell which domain / website it is without looking closely at the favicon.

        Details:
Orion should either only partially desaturate favicons for inactive tabs, or not do so at all, and greyed out text can act as an indicator for inactive tabs instead.

Merged 1 post from Don't desaturate favicon colors for inactive tabs.

Vlad I think you should make it setting, whether to gray out the favicon for suspended tabs, since it is a way to quickly identify what the tab is for navigating and organizing tabs.

Oneechan69 It is not practical to have a setting for everything. That bloats the code base and makes it hard to maintain. Small things like this should be decided on, and we let the community decide the outcome.
