I'm still waiting for this feature, too. It's by far the highest voted suggestion in the forums, as well. I've been running into issues with Firefox's implementation w.r.t. sync. Sites that I remove from a container seem to reappear, no matter how many times I remove it or what I do.

Please, can this feature be given a definitive timeline / version number? @bram 's amazing link to the conception of Firefox's implementation is fantastic, it's exactly what I'd hope for in Orion.

I just moved from Zen, and having each of my profiles in the same window became great for my use case. I have a "administrator" tab for my homelab with one set of creds, and a normal user with a second set. This doesn't realy need full sandboxing, just the seperation of creds and tokens.

Checking in on this after quite a while. Is it really that complex of a feature to add URL-based triggers for profiles? I don't see any other functionality needed to get this running. @bram Is there perhaps a more scope-limited version of Containers that might make this easier for devs to integrate? It's been the top requested feature for what seems like years now.

Just adding a +1 here, I use containers in Zen constantly for having my personal and standard work account logged into my primary container, and admin accounts logged into seperate containers. Using Microsoft admin portals in one browser is near impossible without containers, and I'm otherwise really likeing Orion.

Any chance we can get an update on this?

Personally no. I have a similar use case where I login to multiple admin portals and company apps for different environments, some of which happen through proxies. It's so much easier to do this all in one window in Firefox, than juggle four different windows for Chrome profiles.

Tab A: company gmail (no container)
Tab B: Slack
Tab C: admin portal (container 1)
Tab D: admin portal (container 2)
Tac E: another company app (container 3 with proxy)

This has been easily accomplished using Firefox, for many years, using a container tabs feature + a plugin for per-container proxy settings. I'd love to see another browser support a similar use case.

kahnclusions This is exactly how I use Firefox containers as well. I use a combination of Firefox profiles AND containers. My profiles use case is different browser extensions or browser settings. My containers are to separate things such as google, meta, finance, different MS accounts, etc. I heavily use BOTH concepts. All the containers in a profile all have the same extensions/browser settings.

So clear that this is a huge desire from the userbase, been promised for YEARS, and still nothing? This is why I keep using Zen. Well, that and Bitwarden biometric authentication, which has been broke every time I've came back to give Orion a try as well.
