I would love this feature being implemented

    I and, I'm sure, a lot of users, would appreciate the ability to modify multiple tabs at once, by holding the Shift key, selecting multiple tabs, and then applying an action to all of them simultaneously, be it moving them (within the same window/group or to another), closing them, muting them etc.

    I find myself moving adjacent tabs a lot, and as it stands, I have to move each of them one by one to their desired location. The same goes for closing adjacent tabs.

    Most, if not all, modern browsers have this feature built-in. For example, Microsoft Edge (compare the shading of selected vs unselected tabs):
