Steps to reproduce:
I often browse forums like HackerNews by opening the main page and then opening links in a tab. Often I will open comments in the same main page where I opened Hacker News. After doing this a few times, every link opens in a new tab even though I’m not holding the command key or long pressing and selecting “open in new tab.” It even gets into a state where pressing the refresh button or the back button opens a new tab. This also causes a problem if I’m browsing privately but then login to make a comment. I can be logged in, press the “reply” button on a story, and it opens in a new tab which wants me to re-enter my password.
Expected behavior:
New tabs should only open if I command-click or long press and select the option to open in a new tab. The refresh and back buttons should never open a new tab.
