(Edit: My post body seemed to have been replaced by the title?)

The browser chrome uses transparency so that it's colorized by the content behind the browser. This looks really great when the browser shares a desktop with other apps, but becomes distracting when in full-screen mode with nothing to block a colorful background from making the tab sidebar too colorful. It'd be great to be able to disable transparency in full-screen mode. iTerm2 also has this feature, which I appreciate.

nhynes Can you confirm if Safari has the same behavior? Can you post a screenshot?

Safari has the same behavior. The start pages look the same, and so do the sidebars. In that case I'm guessing it's inherited from WebKit and it's not easily changed? Guess I'll just change my wallpaper 🙂

Here's what iTerm2 offers, for comparison

nhynes From the screenshot it is not clear that this setting is for full screen mode only? or do you have to manually adjust it when you use full screen mode?

Ah, right. That's in a separate screen.

@Vlad relatively simple and old issue
