Steps to reproduce:
When zooming out to Tab Overview, when going back onto page, the page gets shifted to the left or to the right. This can only occurs when activated with trackpad, and can be fixed by zooming in an out.

Expected behavior:
Expected behavior is for the page to remain in correct view. Despite a fix, it would be nice to disable the trackpad from enable tab overview in the first place to avoid accidental triggers.

+1, I experience this as well. Especially disorienting when using something like Google Maps, where I'm zooming out often, and then accidentally triggering Tab Overview, and then the website is messed up

You can also fix/reset the view with cmd + 0. And while it is a little annoying when it happens I quite like the tab overview and being able to use the trackpad to trigger it. Maybe add a toggle in the settings to be able to set the desired behaviour

        Steps to reproduce:

        1. Visit any website, e.g. nytimes.com, zoom in and out (view all tab) until it breaks, Compatibility mode or not—doesn't matter. No such behaviour occurs in the Safari browser.
        2. When it's glitched, you have to the close the tab and open a new one for the website to function properly.
Refreshing the page doesn't fix the issue.

        Expected behavior:
The website UI should remain the same when zooming in and out.

mentee I a not able to reproduce the issue. DO you have the site itself on a non-default zoom level?

Vlad I have all the sites on "actual size". Zooming out and in again doesn't alway cause UI alterations (as seen in first video , having to zoom out and in twice for the site to break) but it's pretty consistent.

Perhaps more interesting: the second video shows a broken https://www.google.com/search?q=consitent and when I try to highlight information on the page, it highlights the wrong text. 🤷

                Vlad No. Using a trackpad:

                • Zoom out to the overview, click on the thumbnail
                • Move the cursor across the page
                • Zoom out to the overview, click on the thumbnail

Hm no matter how many times I do it, it does not break for me. There seems to be a specific trigger that I am missing.

                  Steps to reproduce:
Pinch in with two fingers to activate Tab Overview then click on a tab to open it. The webpage will get shifted to one side. This doesn't happen every time but it happens pretty often.

                  Expected behavior:
The webpage should remain in the right position.

                    @Vlad the screen still breaks.

Make sure you use the trackpad to pinch to zoom out to thumbnail and then go back to the same page - the page definitely breaks. Here is an example.
