  • Collapsing Sidebar leaves white space where header collapses over

  • BugsDesktopNofix

Steps to reproduce: Open and then close the Sidebar by pressing its button.

Expected behavior: The blur of the Sidebar should remain at the top of the application until the Navbar crosses over it, like how Safari does it in the video attached.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Orion Version 0.99.122-beta (WebKit 615.1.11.7)
Ventura 13.1

Vlad the look of the side bar. i'm not sure how to exactly describe it but it is the grey color of its background. i worded it like that under the assumption whatever is behind Orion is actually viewable but just under heavy blur since that is how MacOS styles its stuff

dorkbutt Both Safari and Orion sidebar are same - not transparent. So still unsure what is the ask here.

Vlad i could've sworn there was some translucency that allowed some colors to bleed through. regardless the problem at the top left of Orion, where the URL bar, window close, expand, etc. buttons are that i wish i had known prior to this. when i collapse the Sidebar, instead of the rest of the viewing panel and navigation bar covering the Sidebar by sliding over, there is this white streak that coincides with the height of tabs and navigation bar that pops in immediately over the top of the Sidebar. i hope this attached image communicates what i am trying to describe.

dorkbutt I can verify that, but please make a new bug report detailng that.
