I'd love for there to be an option to display multiple sidebars (eg vertical tabs on the left and bookmarks on the right). At the moment if I want to organize my open tabs into bookmarks I have to drag them from the sidebar into the bookmarks toolbar, which is time consuming with a large number of nested bookmarks. (The toolbar is too small for this kind of operation, a sidebar would be much more benifical)

Also, stacked on top of each other or side-by-side would be great. The close proximately of tabs near bookmarks/history/reading list could provide nice opportunies for interesting interactions. This could actually encroach on Arc Browser's sidebar concept, which works really well.

We tried a few ideas but nothing really clicked...

Vlad In that arrangement, what happens when you select Bookmarks in the leftmost bar? Does it replace the right bar? Cause I could see that not clicking as it's an expanded layout for something users wouldn't interact with much (except the researchers that like tab groups so much). Bookmarks + open tabs as sidebars might be more interesting though. Its annoying switching, especially with width shifting.

I guess with the upcoming compact top bar (if its like the mockups you posted) might be enough for me to have just bookmarks as sidebar.

phy we ar enot likely to do this any time soon> I posted this only as inspiration for someone to come up with a better mockup perhaps.

Vlad Just put the bookmarks below the tab bar/window groups with a vertical perpendicular resize button.
