The address bar updates instantly each time the input field is changed, which is incredibly responsive and fast but is a lot of motion and feels jarring to me as a user.
I would prefer if these autocomplete suggestions were debounced a small amount so that the suggestions don't flicker between typical keypresses.
For example, typing "orion" quickly in the search bar wil rerender the suggested options at least five times (probably more) as the list is cleared each time a new key is pressed and new suggestions are loaded and displayed between keypresses. A better user experience would be waiting to update until the user pauses typing.
Alternatively, waiting until the list of results is ready and replacing the current list would be less jarring than the current workflow of clearing the list each time a key is pressed.
I think both solutions would solve the root problem and make Orion feel more pleasant to work with.
