Search shortcut similar to Firefox

In Firefox, users are able to define their own search engine and use shortcuts to invoke them. For example, I have yt set to YouTube.com, so typing the query yt rock music would directly search rock music on YouTube. Could this functionality be implemented in Orion too?

You can already do this through invocation keyword for bookmarks. it is arguably more powerful as you can do that for any bookmark, not just search engines.

Thank you for the reply, this is exactly what I'm looking for !
I'd suggest having a link or a floating box of explanation linking to the guide in the search engine tab of the settings, because that's where I'd intuitively think search shortcuts be. What do you think?
