Yeah I've changed default browser already. Hoping they wake up at some point though!

@developers I don't think you understand just how deeply necessary BankID is in being a Swedish citizen.

Just had a little play. It seems the session data or keys aren’t getting passed back to Orion (or more like Orion doesn’t recognise them).

The BanID demo test did nothing, however with SEB (local bank, but don’t be misled, BankID is used for everything’s here)

There’s a better app for authentication called Frej ID which works great with 1177 (government medical portal) but outside of government things, it is barely supported.

99.9% of Swedes (I guess adults only) have BankID - according to Claude - which sounds high but is possible, it is that ubiquitous

I can chime that this app is used across all of Norway also and it seems to always fail in Orion now. Which is very frustrating.

Will happily contribute more relevant details if needed.

I'm also a Swede and unfortunately, not being able to use BankID makes it hard to use Orion as main browser (IOS).

Just chiming in as a new user of Orion: It’s basically impossible to daily-drive Orion on iOS without BankID support. Without it, I can’t log into essential services or place orders (Klarna, etc.), which makes the browser unusable for most day-to-day stuff.

Love it otherwise though!

I have the same problem with Norwegian BankID. I'm pretty sure it used to work a couple of months ago, but now I get a "session expired" error every time I try to log in to any website/service using BankID - except for DNB, which is a bank. I have tried switching on the compatibility mode, and I don't have any issues in Safari.
