Longely I am pretty sure there was a request earlier to do this exact thing and match Safari.

I highly doubt that, as i cant come up with a single reason why you would want that, can you?

like whats the point of this feature, if it brings me back to the tab playing video? might aswell not have it take up space in the right click menu, as i have several other options to bring the tab in PIP if im allready on the tab

I think it would be nice if Orions picture in picture had extra controls such as forward/backward 10 or 15 seconds, and maybe even include a simple playhead skimmer to choose where in the current video you would like to move to.

Having these controls would prevent one from needing to constantly return to the tab in which youre watching the video, interrupting what you're doing.

Apps and extensions which currently do this very well would be Arc Browsers built in Picture in Picture and a Safari extension called Vidimote.

It would help those of us who watch a ton of videos on the side while working, gaming from having to constantly go back to the tab to say go back in the video or to skip forward.

Same request here but would also add if the "return to your tab" button could return the video player back to its place without focusing the tab. Or maybe the "close" button could, in fact, close the player but without stopping its playback.

I think the current PiP is good, but having more controls would make it even better, like a progress slider and 10-second forward and backward buttons. That's the only reason I can't switch to Orion as my main browser.

This feature really affects the user experience, as we wouldn't need to go back to the video page when following a tutorial or watching a movie while working.

Similar like Firefox’s PiP, can closed captions be included in the Picture in Picture mode?

                It’s an accessibility feature.

Would love the pop out video player to not snap to cornors and could resize to a larger size?

Vlad changed the title to PiP snap and resize .

Oh, please, jeebus. Main reason to keep Firefox around. Why does webkit have this default setting? What's the point?

Edit: for seo Picture-in-picture, picture in picture orion. Added controls would be nice too, a la Firefox. Modifying pop out player wouldnt count as modifying website looks...

Really the only feature I miss from my browser on windows. I would like to put the pip window anywhere on the screen and not just have it snap to the 4 corners.

PIP should be able to be placed anywhere as opposed to only the corners your display. This singular issue makes me want to stop using Orion

Many browsers have fastforward and rewind 5/10 seconds controls on the hover state over the Picture-in-Picture playing video (Firefox, Zen, Safari, Arc). Orion mobile does (I guess native PiP controls in iOS), but the desktop lacks this.
