There is an incompatibility with something in the 4chan-x Chromium extension which prevents it from saving the user preferences, leading not only to the obvious of losing your choices, but also the initial welcome/configuration prompt on each page-load.

Works, more or less, otherwise; have not tested extensively, but the slide-show galleries and such are perfect.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install the 4chan-x Chromium extension from the Chrome web store.
  2. Visit 4chan (if looking for a """SFW""" board to test against, /g/ should be fine -- pornographic imagery and such is banned on the 4channel.org boards, unlike the ones on the 4chan.org domain. That said, 4chan being 4chan, the SFW boards can still be incredibly rude, etc)
  3. Tick any of the settings options when the initial prompt appears on first-load
  4. Refresh
  5. The settings prompt should re-appear with none of your changes saved

Notes:

Expected behavior:
The settings should save immediately; refreshing or closing out of the prompt should not reset them, nor should the initial setup reappear.
