I turned off search suggestions yet I still get top sites displayed in the search area. I think this should be turn off as well when search suggestions is off or make it a separate toggle.
Include Top Hits in autocomplete settings in Settings -> Search
It should be an optional feature because I’m never going to use it, and it just gets in the way of browsing.
It’s also too aggressive. For example, searching these words takes you to washingtonpost.com: Wash, Hi, In, Ton, Post. The only one of these that should be considered is wash.
There also isn’t a way to not go to the suggested website. On safari, for example, you can press backspace to hide it. But on Orion, there is no way to do it, other than clicking on the search engine suggestions (which I’ve turned off).
So I just think it should be an optional feature, and also tweaked a little.
Also, honestly surprised I’ve never heard of this browser before now, it’s so good.
