Version 0.99.121-beta (WebKit 614.1.20)
MacBook Pro (macOS Monterey 12.6 build 21G115)
This is a frequent usage pattern for me: I will ⌘+T to open a new tab, type the first two characters of a site I visit frequently (es
for espn.com
for example) and then hit enter to navigate.
In Firefox/Chrome, no matter how quickly I enter the keystrokes, the history match is always selected instantly.
Orion is trying to load something (history, favorites, or something) -- If I press enter
too quickly, it takes me to a search engine query. If I delay the enter
press by 500ms or so, it will navigate to the correct history entry.
Here is a video of me trying to demonstrate the difference between Orion and Firefox.

In Firefox, it doesn't matter how quicly I enter the keystrokes es
+ enter
it always goes to espn.com
In Orion, es
+ enter
takes me to the search for q=es
-- es
+ 500ms delay + enter
takes me to espn.com
Reducing this delay would be a dramatic improvement for my workflow
