  • Profiles - cannot open primary app profile from dock when secondary app is already open

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Put Orion app icon in the dock to see it there permanently
  2. Make a second profile (not needed if you have 2 profiles already)
  3. Open second profile's window
  4. Move the second profile's dock icon to the left side to make it stay permanently in the dock
  5. Close default/primary profile app, while still keeping secondary app open
  6. Clicking on the default app icon in the dock will not launch the default profile once a secondary profile app is already open

Expected behavior:
I should be able to open any profile from the icons in the dock, no matter if some are already open. I can open secondary profiles without any issues.

I think the issue here is that macOS prevents multiple same apps launching at the same time, but the secondary profile is not detected because it is a unique script.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open alt profile
    2. Go to launchpad
    3. Click on Orion icon

    Expected behavior:
    I expected it to open to my personal profile, but it took me to my alt profile, so I had to go into File, and then open it from there. This also happens in the dock.

    The alt profile icon is next to this and I have to open that instead every time.

        frin Note, you can use Flag -> Report Duplicate option for this (under Reply button menu)

          While using, I also found out that right-clicking the icon and launching default doesn't work.

          In fact, Chromium has multiple profiles as Orion does too.
          However, when quitting the app, all profiles die at once.
          Besides, Orion's profile seems to act as a seperate app. (pretty nice, I think)

            I got lost in the posts here. Is there an ask here still?
