Steps to reproduce:
An interesting bug has come up with accessing websites, a warning appears stating "You have been blocked" or a CAPTCHA appears to prove I am not a robot. It appears to affect all browsers as it's tied to the IP address.

Interestingly enough, on mobile when I'm using 5G I can access the website on Safari if Orion is closed. But as soon as I open Orion and go to the website, the warning appears on both browsers. I'm assuming this isolates the problem to Orion.

The two websites his has affected for me are londondrugs.com and fastcompany.com

Expected behavior:
Website should not be blocked.

Orion, OS version; hardware type:
Desktop MacOS 12.6, iMac (Intel): Version 0.99.120.1-beta (WebKit 614.1.20)
Mobile iOS 16, iPhone 13 Pro: Version 0.99.120.1-beta (WebKit 614.1.20)

isheh Can you isolate steps to reproduce the problem?

      On wifi

      • Devices on the same network
      • Open website in Orion
      • "You have been blocked" message appears
      • Open website in Safari
      • "You have been blocked" message appears

      On 5G

      • Open Safari, Orion closed (not running in background)
      • Open website in Safari
      • Website opens and functions
      • Open website in Orion
      • "You have been blocked" message appears
      • Go back to Safari, refresh website
      • "You have been blocked" message appears

        On wifi - Desktop

        • Cleared cache on Safari and Orion, blocked message still appears

isheh Unfortuantely I am not able to reproduce this with either site (both load nrmally in Orion on iOS) on my phone. Also it is not clear how would Orion influence Safari in any way because of app isoloation on iOS (apps are built to prevent this by default). Could be something in your system apps/settings but it is the first time I've seen this.

          Can anyone else reproduce this?

It's very odd. I've never seen it before, either. The only thing that I've changed in terms of web browsing is switching to Orion as my main browser (both Mac and iPhone).

It appears the error is connected to the network IP address. If I open on of the website in Orion on one of my devices, all other devices on the same network will get the error (no matter the browser or hardware).

But on 5G iOS, if I open the website in Safari first the website runs normally without the error. Once I open the website in Orion, I get the error in Orion immediately. If I go back to Safari and refresh the website, the error appears - I'm assuming it now detects an error on the same IP. 🤷🏻‍♂️
