by beta macos, do you mean ventura?
wdym by "not on orion"? are you asking for live text in a different browser, like chrome or firefox?

    I mean its not supported in Orion yet like safari i only use Orion now

      Can you provide an example video of how you expect it to work?

        scottjeffers Live Text is a macOS feature not Safari feature. Orion inherits it automatically. Can you provide steps to reproduce and a video to show the difference.

          scottjeffers When we ask for steps to reproduce we need full steps to reproduce. In this case we are missing at least the URL to the video and timestamp.

            I found an example on mine. I'm on this video at 8:22, where there's a screen with lots of text:

            On Safari, I see the live text icon on the bottom right of the video player, and can drag to select text.
            On Orion, there's no icon, and if I hold to drag I see the cursor change to a text selector, but I can't actually select anything.

              eirk changed the title to Live text in videos .

                Steps to reproduce:
                <Include steps to reproduce the bug; Did you try using Compatibility mode (https://help.kagi.com/orion/support-and-community/troubleshooting-webpage-issues.html)? Did you try using a clean Orion Profile? If applicable, does Safari behave in the same way?>

                Expected behavior:
                <What you expected to happen?>

                Orion, OS version; hardware type:

                Image/Video:
                <Copy/paste or drag and drop to upload images or videos (up to 20MB)>

                  Merged 2 posts from No live text on youtube.

                    Would like to have this feature in Orion. It works flawlessly in Safari and is really useful.
